WHY MEM AND WHAT our GOALS are?

Making Entertainment Matter (MEM) is a program created for students in C.A.R.E., Middle East, McElderly Park communities but especially students who live in baltimore city are welcomed. We have revised our meeting point and for the PHASE 1 section of the class will be all virtual. We will teach children to create and manage their websites, and to create  Shop Pages to sell their goods and/or services.  This partnership came together because we recognized the need to help students in the community a new after school activity to engage their minds and keep them off the streets. (PHASE 2 will start next year) This  phase (PHASE 2) of the program teaches fundamental skills to students who are interested in becoming Disc Jockeys (DJs) and/or Master of Ceremonies (MCs). MEM is made possible through the support of inFusion Community Grants and the community associations in C.A.R.E. Middle East, and McElderly Park.  Please fill out the pre-registration form at the bottom of this page.
